Room For Change Therapy

There is always room for change

Hello and Welcome

Counselling and Therapy in Ilford, East London and Online

Therapy itself can feel quite daunting, especially if it’s a new experience.

You’ve come this far, so it’s likely you have reached this point because you’ve realised something in your life has to change, something has to give?

At times you may feel as though you’re surviving rather than living, life at times can be challenging & you may find yourself sad or stuck in old patterns, such as people pleasing, which may be impacting life, relationships or work.

You may be experiencing anxiety, overwhelming feelings and/or negative self-talk: not knowing if you’re coming or going or, perhaps most importantly, you may be feeling like you’re losing yourself.

Often wondered how it would it feel, to prioritise yourself as much as you do others? Saying yes to what you want to do, without worrying about everyone else?

Would you like to take the time you truly deserve and investing it in yourself?

About Me

My name is Nadayna & I’m a person-centered therapist based in East London. My passion for mental health stems from my own personal, transformative experiences in life, that have shaped a deep understanding of the power of genuine human connection.

For as long as I can remember I have always had an interest in people and have been passionate about helping others: giving others that feeling of being seen and heard is a great passion of mine.

Having come from a background of finance, I understand the pressures of perfectionism, the need to get things right and pleasing others. I became aware that this experience can arouse anxiety and feelings of self-doubt, triggering behaviors such as constant checking and rechecking, relentlessly refining and improving work: experience that ultimately led me to a place of self-reflection and taught me the importance of firm boundary setting.

Having decided to take some time out and focus on myself, I realised that something needed to change and it was at this point that I started my self-development journey & therapeutic studies, qualifying as a person-centered therapist.

I recognise the challenges attached to reaching out for support and the stigma that we often experience in accepting that we might need help, even when we know something isn’t right. We can spend many years repeating the same patterns, without understanding or even being aware of the behavioural patterns we create in our relationships – with ourselves, our families, friends and others in our lives. We often blame others and require them to change, when perhaps the reality is that the real need for change lies within ourselves.
